Lionel just gives Daisy the kind of look that says sometimes he really just doesn't get her, and does as she says. Maybe there's some kind of complicated rule book in Daisy's head, and despite how much it frustrates Lionel, he still makes mental notes.
He settles in when the credits start, and despite how dubious about this whole thing he feels (knowing Daisy died while this film was made is just a little creepy), he always has liked it. "We are going to have an intermission, right? I never could take the entire movie in one sitting."
